I recently purchased the Ruia Home Organic Cotton Reversible Bath Rug in Terracotta (lovely, rich color), which I liked so much that I ordered another in addition to this striped 2-piece reversible set. Unlike the terracotta rug, which actually feels like a throw rug and is reversible (one side looped, the other cut and fluffy), this is more like a towel or bath mat. I supposed it, too, is reversible (loop vs cut) but the quality is very dissimilar to the Ruia Home Organic Cotton Reversible Bath Rug. There is no way it can be used as a rug. It will be okay for a bath mat (the larger striped one, the colors are very bland), the smaller solid (the color – purple – is very muted and looks old and washed out) one will be used for??? I don’t know yet. It is far too small to be useful. Oh! It will be just right for my cat’s travel carrier. It will fit nicely and be easy to wash when needed. Well, there you go! : ) I think I’ll bump this from a 2 star (not what it appears and cheesy for rugs) to a 3 star, because it will be useful even if not for its stated purpose.

I was looking for a cheap bath rug and decided to give this a shot since it was 2 for $10 and they exceeded my expectations. Considering the price, it is very good quality and you get two of them. Usually I only buy things with several reviews and high ratings, but I am glad I bought this item. Considering the fact it was $10, I think you would be hard pressed to find 2 bath rugs of similar quality at the same price.

I liked the colors and the ability to flip it over and use the other side. It arrived timely and I immediately to them to good use. The larger mat is good for the bathtub and covers a large extent of the floor in front of the tub. It is pretty absorbent, but I would have liked for it to be fluffier and more luxurious feeling. The rugs were both more servicable than comfortable, as they were quite thin. I use the second, smaller rug in the kitchen to soak up dishwater when I do the dishes.
Overall, I like them because they are certainly useful, easy to clean, and seem like they will last a while.
